For a couple of years now, every spring and early summer I end up with sneezing and watery eyes. I didn't have this problem before. Could it be linked to the climate changes I see around me? I read that trees are blooming earlier than usual.
Yes, it's possible! Since I've been teaching science I've noticed that seasons have really shifted - trees bloom earlier and pollen season is longer, so people who didn't have allergies can develop them afterwards. But stress, pollution and humidity changes can also "activate" new allergies, maybe you always had it lying dormant and now it's showing up. I'd suggest getting an allergy test to be sure what's triggering the problem for you, that way you can at least avoid it during pollen peaks.
