Clearing cache usually fixes it, but not always. If you've already tried that and it's still freezing, the problem is probably something more - it could be low storage space, an outdated version of WhatsApp, or a conflict with another app running in the background.

First try checking how much free space you have on your phone. Go to Settings > Storage and see if you've got above 1-2GB available. If it's too tight, people do tend to get those freezes. If the space is fine, try uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp - sometimes it gets a corrupted file. Also check if there are pending updates in the Play Store, both for WhatsApp and for Android itself on the A15.

Another thing: force close WhatsApp completely (Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Force stop) and leave your phone off for a few minutes. When you turn it back on, open just WhatsApp and see if it still happens. If the freezing persists even after all this, it could be a hardware defect or something with the system ROM that would need a factory reset - but that's rarer with a phone this new 🤔

Do you have a lot of apps running in the background or is your phone's memory always full? The A15 isn't a flagship and it freezes easily when you're hitting around 90-95% storage used, which forces WhatsApp to process more slowly. Try uninstalling apps you don't use, moving heavy photos to the cloud, or clearing your Downloads folder. If it keeps freezing anyway, do a clean reinstall of WhatsApp: uninstall it, restart your phone, and install it again - sometimes a corrupted file in the app causes this.
