I've had a Whirlpool for 5 years that works normally, but since last night it's been making this weird noise like a continuous vibration. It's not the compressor starting up, it's coming more from the back. Is this serious or is it just something that needs adjusting?
Don't put it off, constant vibration noise is usually a fan rubbing or something that came loose in the back! First check that nothing's blocking the condenser fan (dust, something that fell), it's super easy to clean and that fixes it in most cases. If it keeps going after you clean it, you'll probably need to call someone in because it could be a part wearing out, and the longer you wait the more you risk damaging other stuff!
