It's normal for it to heat up during fast charging, it's just physics. A battery that receives a lot of energy quickly is going to generate heat, that's unavoidable. The S25 has thermal regulation systems so it handles it, but yeah, it's going to be hot to hold. It's not really a problem in itself. But if it's literally too hot to hold for more than a few seconds, then you need to check a couple things: is the charger actually an official 65W Samsung one? Counterfeits or cheap knockoffs heat up way more. Also check if you don't have apps running in the background while charging, that adds stress to the battery and creates more heat.

For the battery, no, a bit of normal heat isn't a problem. Lithium batteries are resistant to that. But if your phone is heating up *excessively* like over 40-45°C regularly during charging, then you can start damaging battery cycles in the long run. A simple strategy is to charge by leaving your phone at rest, without using it, in a place that's not too hot (not in the sun for example). And personally I avoid using the 65W every day, I usually go with a standard charger most of the time and save the fast one for when I really need it. That extends the battery life. If after checking all that your phone still heats up abnormally, then it's a real issue and you need to contact Samsung.
