I've been using Telegram on my phone for a few months now and recently the voice messages from my group chats stopped downloading properly. They just show as loading forever. I have plenty of storage and a good connection, so I'm not sure what's going on.
I've run into this before and it's usually a cache issue or a glitchy connection even when it seems fine, so try clearing Telegram's cache in your app settings or force-closing and restarting the app, and if that doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling might actually reset whatever's stuck in the background.
The cache suggestion above is solid, but also worth checking: go into Telegram's storage settings and see if voice messages are actually set to auto-download.
Sometimes after an update, those permissions reset themselves, and you end up with messages stuck in a limbo state where they're technically trying to download but nothing happens. Toggling auto-download off and back on can kick things into gear, or you can manually download individual messages to see if that works at all.
Before you mess with cache or settings, just try logging out and back in - sounds basic but it resets the whole sync state and fixes this more often than the other suggestions. If that doesn't work, then yeah, check those auto-download permissions since updates sometimes flip them without asking.
