What it does is generate pretty vague texts that can apply to basically anyone (like "you'll face challenges today" or stuff like that), and so your brain tends to find connections even when there aren't really any. Since 2024, you've probably noticed that the really specific predictions never actually come true, so it makes sense that you find it weird. If you use it just for fun and because you like reading stuff about your sign, no problem, but if you're counting on it to make really important decisions, that's clearly not the right approach.
Horoscope apps like Co-Star are mostly well-crafted marketing.
