I've been wondering about this since I bought my Renault Zoé in 2024. I was told that batteries are recycled at 90%, but I'd like to understand what actually happens afterwards. Is it greenwashing or does it really work?
Batteries do actually get recycled, it's not greenwashing - that 90% is the materials we recover (lithium, cobalt, nickel) that get used to make new ones, but you gotta know the process is expensive and it's still not super widespread everywhere in France yet. What's your usage like with the Zoé, do you mostly do highway driving or city driving?
