Are skinny jeans still wearable in 2026?

I still have a bunch of skinny jeans from H&M and Zara from the 2010s sitting in my closet. They still fit me well, but I'm wondering if I'd look totally old-school wearing them. Is it worth still wearing them or should I just buy something looser instead?

Are you asking because you like them or because you're uncomfortable in them? If you feel good in them - just wear them! 🙂 Skinny jeans aren't completely out, even if looser cuts are dominating right now. The thing is: if they fit you and you feel comfortable in them, people won't just see a "2010s relic," but rather someone who actually wears their stuff. If you feel like mixing things up, you could grab a couple of loose-fit jeans - but throw out your old ones because of that? Nah, forget about it.

if your skinny jeans still fit you and you feel comfortable in them, that's totally fine - some people style them intentionally retro these days, and it doesn't automatically look uncool. alternatively, you could add one or two other cuts to your wardrobe without getting rid of the old ones, then you'd have flexibility depending on your outfit and mood.

If they fit you and you feel comfortable in them, I'd definitely still wear them - it's just cheaper than constantly buying new stuff 😄 Skinny jeans aren't *the* trend anymore, but they haven't become ridiculous either, plenty of people just keep wearing them. Here's a practical trick: pair them with oversized tops, loose blouses, or longer cardigans - that way the look feels less "2010s archive" and more modern and mixed.
