The ordinary's vitamin c suspension 23% is pretty solid for like £5-6, though it's grittier texture-wise so you gotta shake it well. if you want somthing smoother i'd go with the inkey list's vitamin c serum which runs around £25-30 and has that same brightening effect without feeling as heavy on skin. neither will be *exactly* like the drunk elephant since that's got the fermentation complex they charge extra for, but statistically you're getting 80% of the results for like 50% of the price which aint bad considering i'm spending that saved money on my morning run gear instead lol

The Ordinary suspension is decent if you don't mind the texture, but I'd honestly lean toward Timeless Vitamin C + E Ferulic since it actually mimics the Drunk Elephant formula more closely without feeling gritty - it's usually around £10-15 online and works similarly on my skin for brightening and firmness, which is what you're really paying for with C-Firma anyway.
