You can cancel anytime after a year of contract thanks to the Hamon law, no need to wait for the anniversary. Just make sure to send your request by registered mail and give proper notice (usually a month), otherwise you'll end up with overlapping premiums.

The Hamon law is pretty cool because you can actually cancel whenever you want after the first year, but watch out for something a lot of people forget: the notice period varies depending on your insurer, it can be 15 days, a month, sometimes more. Check your contract or call AXA directly to ask for the exact timeline, otherwise you'll be stuck for another month without realizing it 😅
