The tax credit for renovation still exists! There are several schemes depending on what you're doing: MaPrimeRénov' for insulation and heating systems, the EEC scheme (Energy Savings Certificates) that can give you direct grants, and there are still tax deductions for certain types of work. You really gotta check on the Anah website or the tax authority site because it changes regularly and it depends on your income, the type of work you're doing, and whether your place is your main residence!

It's complicated because it changes all the time depending on the region and type of work, but yeah, it still exists overall. What I'd do is check directly with your local council or regional authority before you get started, because there are often bonus local grants that don't get mentioned and it's free money you're leaving on the table.
