Ceiling light burns out bulbs too quickly
I bought a cool crystal lamp and the bulbs are burning out in less than a month. Is that normal or is there something wrong with the installation?

Man, that's not normal. Usually a bulb lasts way longer than a month, unless you're using a cheap one or the voltage is wrong. It could be that the lamp has some wiring issue or maybe your home's voltage is higher than it should be - in that case, it's worth calling an electrician to check it out, because that can damage other appliances too. In the meantime, try using a bulb with a bit lower wattage and see if the problem keeps happening.
That's definitely weird, normal bulbs last way longer than a month. It could be a voltage problem (maybe the power grid is unstable) or the lamp has some loose contact that's causing power spikes. What kind of bulb are you using - LED, incandescent, halogen? And was that lamp already installed before or is it new?
