I just switched to an iPad Pro 12.9 inch and want to start digital painting with it. So far I've only drawn traditionally with pencil. Which apps would you recommend - Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, or something free like Krita?
Procreate is really the number one for beginners and has a super intuitive interface, especially if you're coming from traditional drawing 🎨 Clip Studio Paint is more for people who want to work a lot with comics or manga. Krita is free and can really do a lot, but the iPad version isn't as smooth as Procreate and takes more time to get into. My recommendation: save up those few euros for Procreate - it's totally worth it in the long run because you just get up to speed faster and don't constantly struggle with the app.
