I created a private Discord server for my gaming group and invited two buddies. But they can't see each other even though they're both online and in the same channel. Everything works fine for me. What's going on?
I've experienced that myself before - it's usually a permissions issue with the roles. Check your server settings under "Roles" to see if your buddies have a role that restricts showing members (that can also happen through channel permissions). Also check whether the channel itself might only be visible to certain roles or if the permissions there are set wrong. A common problem: the default role doesn't have enough rights and your buddies just can't see each other.
