Do lucid dreams actually improve problem-solving skills?

I've been reading about lucid dreaming since around 2015 and some old forums claimed people could practice skills in their dreams. I've managed to get lucid a few times but I'm not sure if it actually helps me solve real problems better or if it's just placebo. Has anyone actually noticed a difference in their waking life from practicing in dreams?

Don't assume that practicing something in a lucid dream will automatically transfer to real-world problem-solving - the connection is way murkier than forums make it sound. That said, there's something real happening when you intentionally work through a scenario while lucid, since you're essentially doing focused visualization and mentally rehearsing solutions, which does help with actual problems, but you'd probably get the same benefit from daydreaming about it while awake.
