Epoxy resin flooring for the garage: how long does it last and how much does it cost?

I saw my friend's garage where he had it done 7-8 years ago and honestly it's still holding up well, but it really depends a lot on how much you use it and whether you regularly clean oil or gas stains - leaving them there risks ruining the finish. If you really want to save money, at least don't compromise on the concrete prep work - that's truly the foundation of everything!

I think the others are right about the durability and prep work, but if you use your garage heavily - car, motorcycle, tools and all that - the price range they mentioned could actually be undershooting it, especially if you add sealers to protect it better from stains. Maintenance isn't complicated but it has to be regular, otherwise dirt builds up and it degrades faster.
