Frozen canned goods arrive all dented on Glovo

I'm wondering whether to keep ordering through Glovo or just go straight to the supermarket. Every time canned goods or bottles arrive, they come all dented and the delivery driver washes their hands of it. Is this normal or should I be complaining every time?

It's not normal for them to arrive dented! If the delivery driver is handling them, that's exactly the kind of damage Glovo should cover - always file a complaint, that's what customer service is there for. Most of the time they'll refund you without any hassle if you document properly what arrives in bad condition.

Don't let them convince you it's your problem if they arrive damaged in transit. I ordered juice bottles recently and they came with cracks; I just opened a claim in the app and Glovo refunded me no questions asked, they didn't even ask for photos. The thing is, the delivery guys just throw everything into their backpack without care and then say that's how it arrived, but that's exactly what a delivery service should be guaranteeing. If it keeps happening, file a claim every time - after a few complaints in a row, maybe Glovo will start training their people better or they'll assign you more careful delivery drivers.
