How can I actually reduce my plastic waste in everyday life?

I've been trying for a few months now to cut down on plastic consumption, but it's so complicated. Between grocery packaging, delivery bags, and everything else that shows up at my door, I feel like I'm not making any progress. Do you have any realistic solutions that actually work?

The real gains don't come from small symbolic gestures but from basic habits: do your shopping with reusable bags, buy in bulk when you can, and especially refuse unnecessary packaging at checkout (like a bag for two or three things). For deliveries it's more of a hassle but you can group your orders together and ask sellers to use less plastic in the package.

What really makes a difference is changing where you shop rather than how you consume: look for small local stores that sell without excessive packaging, or brands that make the effort. Yeah, it takes more organization, but once you've got your routine down you really see the difference in your trash.
