My Chrome has been getting slow and freezing a lot. I want to clear the cache to improve performance, but I don't want to lose the passwords I have saved on the sites I access every day. Is there a way to do this without deleting everything?
In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data, then check only "Cached images and files" and leave "Passwords and other sign-in data" unchecked - that way you clear the cache without losing anything. If the browser is still slow after that, try disabling extensions you don't use much, because a lot of heavy extensions will bog down Chrome.
