15 tabs is honestly a lot for Chrome to handle, and 8GB sounds about right for that load since Chrome basically gives each tab its own chunk of memory. The quickest fix is to just close tabs you're not actively using, or try an extension that auto-suspends inactive tabs - that'll free up RAM without you losing them. If you really want to keep everything open, switching to Firefox or Edge might help since they're generally lighter, but truthfully if you're running that many tabs simultaneously, any browser's gonna struggle. You could also check if you've got a bunch of heavy extensions running in the background that are making things worse.
