The best way is to place the jars upside down on the air fryer grill and heat them at 160-180 degrees for 10-15 minutes, depending on the size. You can sterilize the lids separately or together with the jars, but if they have rubber seals, it's better to do them separately so you don't damage the gasket. From my experience, this method is more than enough for canning - the jars are ready as soon as they cool down, no need to mess around with boiling.
The main thing is don't forget about convection if your air fryer has it. With air circulation turned on, jars sterilize faster and more evenly, so you can cut the time down to 10 minutes even at 160 degrees. Also keep in mind that glass jars are fragile - place them on the rack carefully and let them cool down inside the appliance after you turn it off, rather than taking them straight out onto a cold table, or they might crack from the temperature change.
