I'm torn because I have a big family and lots of friends, but the venue I chose doesn't fit everyone. How do people usually decide who makes the guest list? Is there some kind of rule, or is it really just based on space?
Do you already have an idea of the maximum capacity of the venue? Because honestly most people start with the space itself and work backwards from there. After that, it's easier: send invites to your closest family and closest friends, and fill the spots based on priority. There's no hard rule, it really just depends on what you can make fit.
