I'm trying to decide whether to switch to electric and I'd like to understand the actual costs. I have a Fiat 600e in mind, but I'm not sure how much we'd actually spend each month on home charging compared to what we used to pay for petrol before.
Enel X doesn't have a fixed national rate, it all depends on your home contract and your area: some people pay a flat rate, others have time-of-use pricing, and then there are dedicated charging stations that cost more. Generally though, charging at home costs way less than gas, maybe 30-40% of what you were spending before, but for exact numbers you'd need to ask Enel X for a quote directly because every situation is different.
