A reliable independent mechanic usually charges between 80 and 150 euros in labor, plus the cost of the discs and pads themselves (that varies by car model, roughly 30 to 100 euros for the pads). Official dealerships pull out way higher numbers, often double. In big cities obviously everything costs more.
One trick that works: before you go to the mechanic, buy the pads and discs online yourself. They cost way less, especially if you don't have an unusual car. Then you bring everything to the mechanic and just ask him for the labor, because installing them is easy for him and doesn't take much time. That way you save a lot on the parts and only pay for the work. I've always done it this way with this kind of maintenance.

Usually you're looking at 100-200 euros for labor plus parts, but in big cities or at official dealerships it can cost twice as much.
