Soft brake pedal: what's the problem?
My car's brake pedal has been really soft lately, and I feel like I have to press down a lot to get it to stop. I've already bled the brake system but it's still the same. What could it be?

If you've already bled it and the pedal is still soft, the problem probably isn't air in the system - it could be worn brake pads (when they get really thin, the pedal gets softer), a master cylinder with an internal leak, or degraded brake fluid that's losing effectiveness. Take it to a trusted mechanic so they can diagnose it with the pedal depressed, because this kind of thing is harder to rule out just from talking about it.
