How much should you spend on concert tickets?
I'm thinking about buying a ticket for a festival in August, but the prices have really gone up. The good seats cost between 80 and 150 euros. How much do you guys normally spend on concerts?

Out on my farm, I don't often go to concerts, but when I do, I treat myself. Last year I went to a festival with my sister, and we each paid around 120 euros for day tickets. For me that was okay because I knew I'd get good music all day long and it would be a great experience. I think the most important thing is how much you're into the artist and whether you're actually going for a reason.
The thing is: I make my money with my hands, as a farmer and with my crafts projects, so I have to budget. When I'm spending 80 to 150 euros, I think about whether it's worth it for me or if I could use the money better elsewhere. Sometimes a mid-range ticket is worth it, like around 100 euros, because you can still see and hear everything without having to pinch pennies. At bigger festivals in August, most people I know pay somewhere between 90 and 130 euros, depending on how many acts they want to see.
My tip: Check out the lineup and decide how many artists you really can't miss. If there are three or four you're totally stoked about, then 100-150 euros isn't crazy much. But if you're only getting the ticket for two bands, maybe look for something smaller. And honestly, prices are going up everywhere, unfortunately. You just gotta see what you can afford and whether it's worth it to you.
