Zebrata isn't like other succulents - it prefers partial shade, and if you expose it to too much direct sun it risks losing those gorgeous white patterns that make it so beautiful! Ideally, a bright window that isn't facing south for hours on end, especially in summer.
How many hours of direct light do you get in your room right now? I think whoever says "partial shade" is exaggerating a bit - zebrata handles 3-4 hours of morning sun just fine (it's less harsh), and actually grows more compact and colorful that way, whereas in deep shade it tends to get leggy. You only risk sunburn if you put it in scorching afternoon sun in July-August without acclimating it first.
