# The key is proper cleansing and regular skincare! What works for me is washing with warm water and a gentle cleanser, then using a scrub two or three times a week to exfoliate the top layer of skin. After that, I always apply a moisturizing cream - when skin gets too dry, it produces more sebum, and blackheads appear faster. I'd also recommend trying clay masks or activated charcoal ones, they do a great job of drawing out dirt from your pores.

There's also the at-home mechanical cleaning option. Sometimes I use those special pore strips for the nose, they help get rid of blackheads for at least a couple of weeks. Or you could try liquid peels with acids (salicylic or lactic acid) - they dissolve the gunk inside your pores really gently. The main thing is not to overdo it: if you feel your skin is red or irritated, give it a break!

And don't forget about hygiene - try not to touch your face with your hands during the day, and change your pillowcase more often. If blackheads still won't budge and nothing seems to help, then sure, seeing a cosmetologist is the way to go, but with proper at-home care it's totally doable to stretch out the time between visits!
