How to sync Google Drive documents between devices?
I'm trying to sync my Google Drive documents on my phone and laptop, but it's taking forever or not syncing properly. What's the best way to get this working fast?

Open Google Drive directly in your browser instead of relying on automatic syncing - you get everything in real time without that lag. If you really want to sync on your computer, use Google Drive for Desktop (the new app), not that old Backup and Sync which is slower. On your phone, just open the Drive app or Docs/Sheets directly, it updates automatically whenever you have wifi. Also check if your connection is good and you don't have too much stuff syncing all at once.
Don't try to install Google Drive as automatic file syncing (that folder where everything replicates locally) because it's slow and drains a lot of battery on your phone. Instead, use the Google Drive mobile app and access your documents directly from the cloud - that way they sync instantly between devices without you needing to keep local copies. If you really need offline access, selectively download specific files when you have a good connection. Most sync problems come from outdated apps or weak WiFi, so make sure you have the latest version installed and always try to use a stable connection.
