I squint constantly when watching videos on TikTok and YouTube on my phone

I've noticed I watch a lot - like 2-3 hours straight - and my eyes get so tired that I start squinting. Could this lead to vision problems? And is there a way to reduce the strain besides just watching less?

Squinting during prolonged viewing is a sign of eye strain, and yeah, that kind of load can affect your vision over time. Try the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 meters away for 20 seconds, increase or decrease your screen brightness, turn on blue light mode in your phone settings, hold your device farther from your eyes and angled slightly downward - those small things noticeably reduce fatigue.
