I've got a small apartment in Madrid and my electricity bill costs me an arm and a leg in summer. Don't think WiFi itself saves you anything, that's straight-up marketing BS. What actually works is being able to schedule times and adjust the temperature remotely so you're not leaving the AC running all day when you're not home, and that can cut your bill by 15-20% or so depending on how much you use it now. If your place is small and you're already pretty disciplined about schedules, the difference probably won't be that big, but if you're the type to leave it running all summer 24/7, then yeah you'll definitely notice. My advice is to look more for an efficient unit (like A+ on the energy label) and really manage your schedules, because that's where the real savings are.
