Ring doorbell or Tapo for the video doorbell, which is the better choice?

It's not really a question where there's one best choice overall, it mostly depends on what you want to do with it. Ring is more well-known and the app works great, but Tapo is often cheaper and honestly totally solid if you just want to monitor your entrance. I'd say if you want simplicity and you've already got Amazon stuff around the house, Ring isn't a bad call, but if you're just looking for something that works without breaking the bank, Tapo does the job just fine.
