Is an Oral-B or Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush worth it?

I've been using a regular manual toothbrush for years and I'm thinking about switching to an electric one. I've seen they're pretty expensive (between 80 and 200 euros) and I don't know if they really clean better or if it's just marketing. Can someone who uses one of these toothbrushes tell me if they notice a difference?

Electric toothbrushes really do clean better because they vibrate thousands of times per second, which you can't achieve by hand. If your teeth are in decent shape, you'll notice a difference in how clean they feel and over time in your gum health, so if you can swing it budget-wise, it's worth it. Both brands are reliable, though Sonicare tends to be a bit gentler if you have sensitive gums.
