Is Bitcoin mining still viable in 2026?

I have an old gaming PC lying around and I was wondering if it'd be worth putting it to mine. I live in Belgium so electricity isn't cheap, but I'd like to know if there are still people actually making real money from it or if it's become completely impossible for small-time miners like me.

With an old gaming PC, you'll lose money on electricity way before you see any crypto - serious mining now means entire farms with specialized equipment, not home computers. Especially in Belgium where electricity is expensive, it's really not viable on a personal level.
