I've noticed this for months now - I look at the time and it's always 11:11, 22:22, or 13:13. My girlfriend says those are angel numbers and I should take it seriously. Could there actually be something to it or am I just spending too much time online and only remembering the same times?
It's just confirmation bias - your brain remembers the times that have a pattern and forgets all the other thousand times you glance at the clock and it says 11:47 or 14:23. If you actually started writing down every single time you saw, you'd realize those "angel numbers" don't come up nearly as often as it feels like they do. The whole angel numbers thing is really for people looking for meaning in random stuff - some find comfort in it, but mathematically nothing supernatural is happening there.
