I've had a 60L tank for 3 months with plants and everything. For the past week it's turned bright neon green everywhere, even on the glass. I changed my Chihiros LED lighting in April, maybe that's what's causing it? My fish are doing fine but it's really ugly.
That's totally normal with an LED that's too powerful and no CO2, you've created the perfect conditions for an algae explosion. Your Chihiros is probably throwing out too much light for what your tank can handle, especially if you don't have CO2 supplementation and your plants aren't absorbing nutrients fast enough.
Cut your lighting time down to 6-7 hours a day, do more frequent water changes (30-40% twice a week) and clean the glass regularly to get rid of the algae.
Your fish don't care anyway so just think of it as a balancing phase, it'll settle down.
