Is it still worth buying a laser printer or is a multifunction inkjet better?

It depends on how much you print: if you use the printer sporadically, a multifunction inkjet is more practical and costs less, but if you print often a laser printer is worth it because the cost per page is much lower. If you barely print at all, honestly these days it's also worth just using online services or print shops.
