We're already in August, so you wouldn't get much out of a yearly horoscope at this point. If you want to buy one, I'd rather wait for a monthly horoscope or a yearly horoscope for 2027 - that makes way more sense. Generally, horoscopes are more for fun than to take seriously, so you'll have to decide for yourself whether it's worth it for you.
It depends on what you want to do with it. If you're just curious and have a few euros to spare, there's nothing wrong with it - some horoscopes give general life tips that are relevant year-round, not just for the remaining months. But whether it's "worth it" really depends on whether you care about the predictions for August through December or if you're more interested in getting the overall picture of the year.
The previous point about 2027 makes total sense though - if you want a yearly horoscope anyway, it'd be strategically smarter to go for next year's right now. Then you'd get the full benefit of it. A lot of bookstores and online shops release the new yearly horoscopes pretty early in the fall, so you could also wait a few more weeks and then grab one. That would at least be more economical than paying for just 4 months now.
It depends on what you want to use it for. If you genuinely believe a horoscope will guide you through the remaining months - sure, then it doesn't make much sense to buy one for 2026 now. But honestly? Most people don't buy this stuff because of concrete predictions, they just feel like it or think it's an interesting gift. In that case, it doesn't matter whether we're in August or December.
And practically speaking: If you've still got months ahead and you're curious what's supposedly in store for your sign astrologically or numerologically for the rest of the year, that's still relevant to you personally. Some yearly horoscopes are also structured more thematically - not strictly month by month - but by life areas like love, career, health. That doesn't lose its value just because we're already mid-August.
But if you want to save money and you're pretty skeptical anyway: Just wait for 2027. Or check out something free online. But the idea that horoscopes automatically become pointless from August onward is nonsense.
