Is it still worth investing in real estate in Milan with the market so uncertain?

I'm thinking about setting aside some money for an apartment in the Milan area, but I see prices are still high and I don't know whether to wait or take the plunge now. I've heard that real estate is still a good safe haven, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to wait for prices to drop. What do you think - is it still worth it or should I wait?
