Have you been dealing with the noise for a long time, or is this something that's just bothering you now? Personally I switched mine out last year and honestly it's not a miracle! It is quieter yeah, like maybe 30% less loud, but you can still hear it. Though if you've really got a toilet that's thundering and it's bothering the whole apartment, why not, but I don't get the feeling it's THE expense that'll change your life!
