Is it worth paying for a private youth academy instead of the one in town?

My son is 11 years old and plays in the municipal youth academy, but now he's been offered a spot at a pretty expensive private academy. They say they have better facilities and specialized coaches, but I'm not sure if it's really worth spending that much money every month when he can learn in the town one too.

It really depends on how serious your son is about football and whether he actually sees a difference in training quality, because throwing money at an expensive academy just for the name doesn't make sense if he's already developing well at the local one. What I'd do is go watch a training session at the private academy, talk to other parents who have kids there, and ask your son directly if he actually wants to switch or if he feels pressured into it.
