I'm currently using an RTX 4070, but I heard that the new Radeon RX 7900 GRE is much cheaper and performs close to the 4070 Ti. Is it worth switching to AMD, considering their driver issues?
If the 4070 handles your tasks just fine, there's no point in switching - it's just wasting money. But if you're hitting performance limits and you're willing to deal with possible AMD driver issues, then the GRE is worth considering, especially since the price is genuinely more attractive than what Nvidia offers in the same range.
