That clicking sound when it turns on could be a few different things, and it's not always a sign something's breaking. LG Dual Inverter units sometimes make weird noises when the compressor changes speed or when there's a pressure shift in the system - it's actually pretty common. It could also be thermal expansion of the internal parts, which makes that clicking sound when cold/hot air starts circulating. If it was completely silent before and now it's doing this, it's at least worth looking into.
What I'd do is try to figure out if the sound only happens at startup or if it's continuous, and whether the unit is cooling/heating like it should. If it's doing its job normally and the noise stops after a few seconds, it's probably nothing serious. But if you notice the noise is getting louder, if it's not cooling well, or if it comes with weird vibrations, then definitely call a technician without hesitation 🔧
At 3 years old it's still within the window where technical support could be worth it if the problem keeps happening. Give it a week to see if the sound continues or if it was just a weird one-off. If it keeps going, call LG and schedule a visit - sometimes it's just an internal cleaning or a loose part that fixes everything.
