Is Portal 2 still fun now?
My little brother has never played it and I want to recommend him something classic. I had a blast with it years ago and loved it, but I'm not sure if a 14-year-old would find it boring compared to what's coming out now.

Portal 2 is still incredible honestly. The puzzles are well designed, the story is great and the humor still makes you laugh, so a 14-year-old kid is gonna enjoy it no problem. The graphics aren't the newest but the gameplay holds up perfectly and it doesn't feel outdated at all, plus if they like games that require you to think a bit they're gonna be hooked.
I've been 27 years old working with people and watching shows, so I know a thing or two about entertainment haha. Portal 2 is still pure gold, honestly; the puzzles are designed so your brain has to work but without frustrating you, and GLaDOS's humor doesn't age at all. A 14-year-old kid is gonna get hooked because it's not one of those old games that feel like old games, you know? The mechanics are still fresh in 2026, trust me.
Totally agree with what they're saying above. I was your brother's age when I first played it and it blew my mind, so imagine now that he already knows more games. What makes Portal 2 still so good is that the puzzles are designed so you feel smart when you solve them, and GLaDOS's humor is timeless - the truth is she made fun of players in such a clever way that it works just as well in 2026 as it did when it came out. If your brother enjoys thinking while having fun, he's gonna love it.
