Not really seeing the appeal myself, but I get why folks like them - they're low-pressure and you can pick them up whenever. The randomness keeps things fresh since you never know what kind of puzzle you're getting next.
I'd push back a bit on the randomness being the main draw - I find the actual challenge of parsing AI logic is what hooks me, since the puzzles often have weird internal rules that feel almost intentional even when they're not. The low-pressure angle is fair though; it's the kind of thing you can abandon mid-riddle without feeling like you've quit a game.
The parsing-weird-logic angle is real, but I'd watch out for the ones that feel intentional until you realize the AI just glitched and you spent twenty minutes chasing a rule that doesn't actually exist. The frustration creeps up faster than you'd think once you clock that pattern.
