I just bought an LG French Door refrigerator two weeks ago and it's been making a constant vibration noise from the compressor. My old Whirlpool never did that. Should I file a warranty claim or is this something that goes away on its own?
That constant vibration noise in a new fridge isn't normal, to be honest. Some compressors make noise when they start up or shut down, but continuous vibration usually means something's not right - either the compressor itself, the shock absorbers, or the installation.
I'd recommend first checking that it's level and there's nothing loose inside rattling against the walls, but if it keeps doing it after that, you should definitely file a warranty claim now while the purchase is still fresh. Two weeks in is the time to do it, don't wait for months to go by.
