Motorcycle exhaust starting to release black smoke, is that normal?

I have a 2008 Yamaha YZF 250 and for a few months now I've been noticing black smoke coming out of the exhaust, especially when I accelerate. The bike runs fine, no loss of power, but I'm worried if it's a burner problem or just accumulated dirt. Does anyone here have experience with this?
