I have a JBL Flip 6 that I bought two years ago and suddenly the volume won't go past 40% even though it used to go all the way up. I've tried resetting the Bluetooth connection and nothing. Does anyone know if it's a battery thing or if something's broken?
Try completely resetting the speaker: hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds until you see it turn off and back on again, that clears the memory and often fixes volume issues. If it's still the same after that, it's most likely an internal problem with the amplifiers or the battery that's limiting the output, and in that case you'd need to take it in for service.
