Smart electric heaters, which ones are good in 2026?

I've been looking at smart radiators because I want better control over heating in my flat while I'm away on calls, and honestly brands like Tado, Netatmo and Meross have a pretty solid reputation right now. Tado stands out because it integrates well with basically anything and has a window sensor, though it's one of the pricier options. Netatmo is more affordable and works well if you've got their central thermostat, but you need a hub. The important thing is to check compatibility with your boiler and make sure the app isn't rubbish, because some brands really drop the ball on that.
