Should I be worried about this Chinese shopping app malware?
Hundreds of millions supposedly at risk from malware in some Chinese shopping app. Do I need to check my phone? How would I even know if I'm affected?

Check if you have the app installed by searching your phone's app drawer - if it's not there you're fine, and if it is, just uninstall it and you're good! Most people won't notice anything weird happening anyway since these things usually lurk silently, but removing the app kills the problem immediately.
